Okay, here’s how to play Junior Chess! First, set up the board with the light square in the bottom right corner. Each player has 16 pieces: 1 king, 1 queen, 2 rooks, 2 knights, 2 bishops, and 8 pawns. White goes first! Move your pieces to capture your opponent’s pieces, but watch out! The goal is to checkmate their king, which means trapping it so it can’t escape! Remember, each piece moves differently: pawns go straight but capture diagonally, and knights jump. Have fun thinking ahead, and don’t forget to protect your king! Let’s see who wins!
