Solitaire Chess is like playing chess all by yourself! You set up the board with special pieces, and then you try to move them so they capture each other. You have to think really hard about each move because you want to take them all away! It’s like a puzzle: you want to finish with only one piece left—usually a king. Sometimes, it can be super tricky, and you might have to start over if you get stuck. It’s a mix of strategy and fun, and you get to be a chess master even when you’re all alone!
Instructions:
Set up your chessboard with only one piece of each type! You’ll have a king, queen, rooks, knights, and bishops. Each turn, pick one piece and move it like it normally would in chess, but you MUST capture another piece on the board! If you can’t capture anything, it’s not your turn! Keep going until you’ve captured all the pieces. The goal is to be super smart and find a way to take every piece using your moves. Remember, the king can’t be captured, and it’s your job to save him! Have fun and think like a chess master!
